Gift of Securities

Stock Instructions

Beauvoir is a legal entity of the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation (PECF). All gifts of securities intended for Beauvoir must be directed to the PECF, which upon receipt, will credit to Beauvoir.

Broker-Assisted Electronic Transfers: The easiest way to gift appreciated securities held in “street name” for you by a broker or bank is by electronic transfer. This requires a letter from the donor/s to the broker or bank that:

1. Identifies the shares (either a specific number or a target dollar total) to be transferred to the:
   Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation for the benefit of Beauvoir
   Merrill Lynch
   Account Number: 5UP-02237
   DTC: 8862
   TIN: 53-0196604
2. Explains how the School should allocate the gift (Annual Giving, Beauvoir Outdoors, Beauvoir Endowment, or any other specified area).
3. Provide all information below on the PECF’S brokerage account.

Please convey your intention to make a stock gift to the PECF Treasurer’s Office and the Beauvoir Advancement Office – either by mailing, fax, or emailing copies of the letter, or by telephone to one of the following people. This is a very important step because stock transfers often arrive without information identifying the donor/ the PECF beneficiary institution/or the objective to be funded.
