Stock Instructions

Beauvoir is a legal entity of the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation (PECF). All gifts of securities intended for Beauvoir must be directed to the PECF, which upon receipt, will credit to Beauvoir.

Broker-Assisted Electronic Transfers: The easiest way to gift appreciated securities held in “street name” for you by a broker or bank is by electronic transfer. This requires a letter from the donor/s to the broker or bank that:

Identifies the shares (either a specific number or a target dollar total) to be transferred to the:

Explains how the School should allocate the gift (Annual Giving, Beauvoir Endowment, or any other specified area).

Please convey your intention to make a stock gift to the PECF Treasurer’s Office and the Beauvoir Advancement Office – either by mailing, fax, or emailing copies of the letter, or by telephone to one of the following people. This is a very important step because stock transfers often arrive without information identifying the donor/ the PECF beneficiary institution/or the objective to be funded.
