Beauvoir Summer’s Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program combines a series of workshops, hands-on experiences, and time spent with campers and their counselors. CITs will help design projects and assist with camp activities throughout each week with various responsibilities. In addition, we invite school leaders to provide workshops on topics such as financial literacy, job applications, technology use, and wellness–all to provide life skills and leadership training.

Week 1: $440 (June 16-20) *No camp on 6/19
Week 2: $550 (June 23-27)
Week 3: $440 (June 30-July 3) *No camp on 7/4
Week 4: $550 (July 7-11)
Week 5: $550 (July 14-18)
Week 6: $550 (July 21-25)
Week 7: $550 (July 28-August 1)
Prices include daily lunch, snacks, and optional pool time in addition to CIT training sessions
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (we ask for CITs to arrive at 8:30 a.m. and stay until 3:30 p.m.)
*Aftercare options available for campers ages 3 to 11. CITs are welcome to stay and help in any of our extended day programs!
7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Morning Connections (before camp care)
3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ABC/Afternoon Beauvoir Connections (after camp care)
3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Afternoon Enrichment Courses
The CIT program is for rising 7th through 10th graders (ages 12-15) with single-week options through all seven weeks of our camp programs.
CITs will receive a stipend of $20 per day at the end of the week and have opportunities to swim in the Beauvoir Pool. We will also provide daily lunches and snacks!
Registration for the CIT program will be available starting Wednesday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m.
Beauvoir Summer Camp Themes
Our themes are incorporated each week through various activities, projects, and conversations during the camp day, often culminating in a community-wide gathering each Friday. Campers will also explore much of the Washington National Cathedral grounds on scavenger hunt games and connecting with the outdoors. It’s a great place to be a camper! Daily swim instruction is part of the day, as well as a morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack–all included in the program price.
