Fall Festival (October) - Beauvoir's annual Fall Festival is the first opportunity of the school year to come together as a community.

Book Fair (November) - The Book Fair is a wonderful Beauvoir tradition organized by Beauvoir parents that celebrates our love of reading. The three-day Book Fair is the Library's primary source of new books for the school year.

Grandparents & Special Friends Chapel (November) - This annual event held on the morning of Thanksgiving Chapel celebrates our families and friends and allows students to share a treasured chapel service with those who are special to them.  

Christmas Chapel (December) - Each year, Beauvoir families gather for Christmas Chapel in the Great Crossing of the Washington National Cathedral before dismissing for winter break. Christmas Chapel is a prayerful celebration featuring music, good cheer and the First Grade nativity scene. 

Global Studies - Global Studies is a school-wide study that explores geographical regions worldwide and celebrates the families and cultures within the school. Each year, students engage in integrated explorations of countries from one of the following geographical areas: Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe and North America. Global Studies culminates in the creation of interactive exhibits, shared with parents and guests, at Beauvoir’s annual Museum event.

Annual Scholarship Benefit (April) - Our scholarship benefit organized by Beauvoir parents enables faculty, staff, parents and supporters to gather as a community and raise critical funds for the school’s financial aid program. 

Flower Mart (May) - Flower Mart is a Close-wide celebration, with volunteers from every Cathedral institution coming together to raise money for the All Hallows Guild for upkeep of the Cathedral Grounds. Beauvoir's Parents Association runs the rides and children's section.

 

Closing Chapel (June) - The Beauvoir community celebrates its graduating Third Grade students at the end of the school year during Closing Chapel in the Washington National Cathedral. Closing Chapel includes songs from children of all grades and specifically honors the Third Graders, who carry on a Beauvoir tradition of performing the Maypole Dance in the Great Crossing.
