1. Personally Identifying Information

Beauvoir does not collect personally identifying information about an online visitor unless that information is voluntarily provided to the school by submitting an online form—including one with a username and password—or sending an e-mail. Personally identifiable information transmitted through the Beauvoir website is encrypted upon submission via the highest level of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) available, and the servers storing this information are in a secure environment. Beauvoir uses third-party, PCI-compliant service providers to process credit card payments; under no circumstances are credit card numbers permanently stored on Beauvoir servers.

2. Cookies/Log Files

Beauvoir analyzes how our website is accessed and utilized. Much of the information we monitor relies on "cookies," small text files created by a server and stored by a browser. Cookies also allow a user's browser to store preferences from visit to visit our site and to maintain a "logged-in" status when visiting password-protected areas. The use of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.
