Remembering Elanor Cato
Last week the Beauvoir community had an unexpected loss in the death of beloved teacher, Mrs. Elanor Cato.
To honor Mrs. Cato’s life, all are welcome to a Memorial Service on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. in The Washington National Cathedral. Following the service, there will be a reception with remembrances held in the Beauvoir Dining Room.
Given the Cathedral’s limited availability, and to allow all members of our community to attend the service, Beauvoir School will be closed for all students and ELC children on November15. ABC and Enrichment classes will not be held. Thank you for your understanding.
We are in the process of collecting memories and stories about Mrs. Cato that we would love to share with her family. If you are interested in contributing, please feel free to submit your memories here.
Please note that The Cathedral is not able to accept floral deliveries. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Elanor’s memory be made payable to:
Beauvoir, The National Cathedral Elementary School Office of Institutional Advancement 3500 Woodley Road, NW Washington, DC 20016 In the memo line of your check, please write “Elanor Cato Memorial.”
