A Coeducational School | Pre-Kindergarten to Third Grade
Director of Institutional Advancement
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Geoff Johnson as Beauvoir’s new Director of Institutional Advancement. Geoff will join the Beauvoir team on January 21, 2019.
Geoff has extensive experience in all aspects of institutional development. He joins us from St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, VA. He has spearheaded a wide variety of Advancement programs in his twenty-year career, including stewardship and planned giving, annual fund, alumni relations, event management, donor communications, and endowment campaigns. His broad knowledge of independent schools goes beyond his career. Geoff is the proud product of an independent school education and is the father of two sons; one is a sophomore at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School (SSSAS), and the other, an alum of SSSAS, is at Gettysburg College.
"There are two big Beauvoir ideas that I love already and I can't wait to learn more,” said Geoff. “First, a beautiful view of childhood and, second, courage—I love that it’s a core value at Beauvoir. I look forward to working alongside the families, Governing Board, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the 'Beauvoir Bears' to support a platform for courageous learning now and for future generations of Beauvoir students."
I want to thank members of the Beauvoir Governing Board and Administration for assisting in this search, which attracted many candidates from across the country.
Please join me in welcoming Geoff to Beauvoir. I know he is truly looking forward to advancing Beauvoir’s mission with the rest of our community as we head into the New Year.
