2020 Beauvoir Scholarship Auction

Washington National Cathedral
Strong roots allow Beauvoir students to BLOOM!
The Online Scholarship Auction is now open! It features many familiar Beauvoir treasures and a veritable bouquet of items curated specifically for our community. Included this year are “fresh takes” on old favorites, creating experiences for you and your family to enjoy at home. Thank you to our generous donors who made this year’s splendid slate of offerings possible! Bidding on silent items will close on the night of the Beauvoir Scholarship Virtual Benefit on June 2. (Please note that many of our featured Live Auction items from the past—such as the instant wine cellar and “Junior Head of School for the Day”—have been moved to the silent online auction, so there are some truly extraordinary items to start bidding on now!)

The pre-show will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will allow our guests to check in while viewing some great photos and content from the 2019-2020 year. The Benefit broadcast will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and will feature our emcee, Beauvoir parent and anchor, Jim Sciutto; a live auctioneer introducing our Live Auction items; a live drawing; student montages; special live appearances by Mrs. Gibbs-Wilborn and our auction co-chairs; as well as opportunities for audience participation, including a chance for our students to show their spirit LIVE and for our community to participate on social media (stay tuned for details). Taking advantage of our digital platform, many more Beauvoir friends will be able to participate in this year’s Benefit than we could normally accommodate in the Washington National Cathedral. That means all our parents and students, grandparents, alumni, and parents of alumni can attend! Never before have so many friends been able to experience our Beauvoir Scholarship Auction! We will have Beauvoir features for all to enjoy as we close out our silent online auction at 5:30 p.m. and open our Live Auction, which will be limited to less than six premier items during our broadcast. The post-show will include our traditional student slideshow where every Beauvoir student will be featured.
New date, new format, same great way to support financial assistance through the Beauvoir Scholarship Fund.
