• Is a Parent/Caregiver Tour required?

  Yes, a Parent/Caregiver Tour is required for both parents and/or caregivers unless you have previously toured the School. You may register through Ravenna.

• Do I need to complete an application before my Parent/Caregiver Tour?

  No, you are welcome to be a part of any event prior to applying to Beauvoir.

• How do I know when my child will have their Applicant Visit?

  An application is required for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants in order for your child's visit to take place.  The Admissions Office will send you an email with the date and time of your child’s visit. The visits occur from mid-November through early February.

• How can the Teacher Recommendation Forms be completed if my child has never attended school or is now learning remotely?

  This is handled on an individual basis as each case may be unique. Please feel free to reach out to us! If a child has not been in school, they may have attended a class or a religious institution (remotely or in person) where an adult is able to provide the necessary information.

• What if we feel we cannot afford Beauvoir?

  We are committed to making a Beauvoir education accessible to families from a wide variety of economic backgrounds.  Financial Aid is available for tuition, extended day and enrichment programs. Please visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page for information.

  
  
  

• What has the School's response been to COVID-19?  
  

  For the past two years, Beauvoir has had detailed safety protocols in place allowing us to continue in-person dynamic teaching and learning. There will be more information in the early fall about our back-to-school plans.

• Does Beauvoir have an extended day program?

  Yes.  Please visit our website for more information about Beauvoir's auxiliary programs.

• How many new students are accepted each year?

  Beauvoir is committed to enrolling children in pre-kindergarten through third grade from a wide variety of family structures, as well as ethnic, racial, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds.  The School admits approximately 60 children to pre-kindergarten and 25 children to kindergarten each year. We love welcoming new first through third graders when an opening occurs.

• What is the process for sibling applications?

  We are delighted to receive applications for siblings of current and former Beauvoir students!  For current Beauvoir families interested in applying for the 2023-2024 school year, please log in to the Parent Resource Board and go to the pin titled, Application and Financial Aid Process for Current Beauvoir Families.  For siblings of former Beauvoir students, we welcome your application and please contact the Admissions Office with any questions.  We can't wait to see you again!
