A Coeducational School | Early Learners to Third Grade
About

Alumni

Beauvoir alumni remain actively involved at school long after they graduate from Third Grade, returning regularly for reunions, supporting the School, and enriching and enlivening the Beauvoir community. Alumni include artists, doctors, scientists, parents, architects and more. Even though our alumni leave Beauvoir when they are eight or nine years old, they are never forgotten at Beauvoir. Though much has changed since 1933 when Beauvoir first opened its doors, much remains the same. The old Beauvoir mansion is gone, replaced by a beautiful building built with children in mind. The curriculum has adapted to incorporate the best of current thinking and practices in early childhood education. Our community has grown to include families from many different backgrounds and neighborhoods around Washington, DC.

Alumni: If you haven't been back to Beauvoir in a while, you might not recognize the place. That is, until you walk through the doors. Beauvoir is still a warm and vibrant school filled with the hum of happy children. Our teachers are still committed to professional excellence and dedicated to nurturing each student. Hugs are still given freely and often. When you do come back to Beauvoir, you'll recognize it as a place of great beginnings. We hope to see you soon!
