A Vision of Learning and Play Completed
Beauvoir is thrilled to celebrate the conclusion of The Campaign for Beauvoir Outdoors and with it the final piece of our 2007 strategic plan -- the complete renovation and reimagining of Beauvoir’s outdoor spaces to support and enrich our mission and programs. This renovation of the spaces surrounding the School includes a totally reconfigured play and landscape, unique new play structures, nature-inspired learning spaces, and a completely redesigned entrance to Beauvoir including stairs and a safe walkway from the parking lot. This project has been a dream and priority since the completion of the building renovation in 2000 and it is a challenge the Board committed to completing with the community’s help.
The Paula J. Carreiro Campus for Outdoor Learning honors the legacy of excellence former Head of School Paula J. Carreiro sustained during her tenure. Today during school hours and on weekends on the Cathedral Close, many children and families from the area community as well as Beauvoir students enjoy the beautiful and innovative play and learning environment.
Beauvoir extends its grateful thanks to all those who responded so enthusiastically to this effort.
